Molly Wickwire-Sante
Married. Born 1968.
Studied at Wheaton College. Graduated in 1990. Studied Art History and Economics.
Worked in New York City for two art book publishing houses in the 1990's: Abbeville Press + Stewart and Tabori + Chang Publishers. Moved to Telluride in 1999 and was the Director of the Telluride Council for the Arts and Humanities for two years. She then worked in the Member Services Department for the Franz Klammer Lodge in Telluride before giving birth to twins Emmett and Amelie in 2003.
Responsibilities at Sante Architects include office management, accounting, and interior design administration.
Interests include theater, skiing, hiking. Volunteer work includes The Telluride AIDS benefit and Reel Thing Productions (producers of the award winning documentary film: "Bag It")
Matthew Lynch
Matthew Lynch, B.Sc.Arch(Hons) AA Dipl. ARB AIA Assoc.
Married. Born 1973 in Maitland, Sth. Australia.
Studied at the University of Sydney. Graduated in 2000 with Honours Degree in Virtual Architecture.
Gained post-graduate qualifications at the Architectural Association in London in 2003. Worked with a number of large practices in Australia and Hong Kong on resort, commercial and high density residential projects prior to joining Londons oldest family-run practice, which celebrated their centenary in 2005. Specialized in University re-development in the role of Architect to the London Business School situated in the conservation area of Regents Park, as well as designing boutique, high-specification residential projects.
Interested in cooking, wine, political and business biographies.
Killian Harwell
Killian Harwell, LEED AP BD+C, BArch
Single. Born 1985 in Sindelfingen, Germany
Studied at the University of Arizona and abroad at Orvieto International Institute for Classical Studies. Graduated in 2008.
Worked at Sante Architects the summers preceding and following her final year at college. She then went back to Arizona to work in a small firm specializing in civic projects as well as small residential projects. Relocated to Telluride in 2010 to work for Sante Architects.
Strives to create responsive yet simple design that stems from a keen evaluation of client needs and environmental sensitivity, while maintaining structural purity and utilizing natural materials. Responsibilities at Sante Architects include architectural and interior design, physical and digital based model making, marketing, and construction documentation.
Interests include singing classically and in her car, viewing and creating art, theater, college basketball, and winter days in the Arizona desert.
Laura Jordan
Laura Jordan, BArch
Married. Born 1976 in McPherson, Kansas
Studied at Kansas State University and Czech Technical University. Graduated in 2000.
2000-2001 worked at a large firm in Colorado Springs specializing in educational facilities. Relocated to Telluride in 2001 and worked for architecture and interior design firms before starting work at Sante Architects in 2006.
Enjoys designing custom details, intimate spaces that relate uniquely with the client, and encorporating a natural material pallatte that draws from the characteristics of the Telluride region. Responsibilities at Sante Architects include architectural and interior design, physical and digital based model making, client and project management, administration of approvals and construction contracts.
Interests include travel, art, music, football and fly fishing.
Peter Sante
Peter Justin Sante, Registered Architect, NCARB, BArch. Arch History (Minor)
Married. Born 1968 in Ruston, Louisiana
Studied at the University of Oregon. Graduated in 1994.
Joined the practice in 1995. Between 1997 & 1998 worked on schemes for the Mary Jane & Silvermill Base Villages at Winter Park and Keystone ski resorts with CGYA. Returned to CGYA's Telluride office in 1998. Became office co-director in 2002 and opened Sante Architects in 2004.
Principle projects have included several homes, multiple residential and commercial historic renovations, municipal projects, and multi-family developments within the town of Telluride. Private residences in the town of Mountain Village and county.
Interests include backpacking in canyon country, local mining history, mountain biking, skiing, traveling, learning surfing, and sketching.
Founded in the summer of 2004 to continue local work and broaden the range of potential projects, Sante Architects strives to define itself through each evolving creative solution. Extensive experience in high end, custom residential design has given us the expertise to tackle a wide variety of projects. From the demanding and complex multi building project to most the simple structures; Sante Architects delivers informed design solutions for our clients. Peter Sante brings over thirteen years of experience stewarding projects through the local municipal and neighborhood design review board processes, and with that, the ability to simplify this experience for our clients. We strive to limit the often draining process, while maintaining design integrity and project timeliness. Our office operates as a studio, allowing for the efficient flow of information and sharing of ideas. We are a studio fueled by the pursuit of good design and creative solutions. We find that our best work results when each member of the design team, beginning with the client, has the chance to explore, aiding our goal to consistently exceed both our own expectations and those of our client. Sante Architects strives to merge our proven ability to share the unique Telluride mountain lifestyle with a genuine appreciation of the built environment of the surrounding historic and mining districts.
